Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: JULY 2026
1. Who we are
Web3Legal ("we", "us", "our") provides legal consulting services for Web3, Fintech and AI businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our website at web3legal.tech.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our contact form:
Contact form submissions: name, email address, company name (optional), and the contents of your message. We also collect a timestamp and your IP address for anti-spam purposes.
Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and does not collect personal data. Plausible collects only aggregate, anonymised metrics (page views, referral sources, country-level location). See Plausible's data policy for details.
3. NDA-secured intake (electronic signature)
Our contact form offers an optional mutual non-disclosure agreement ("NDA"). If you choose to sign it, we additionally process: the full legal name you type as your electronic signature, the date and time of execution, and your IP address. We use this data to execute the NDA, to countersign it on our side, and to create a tamper-evident record of the executed agreement — a SHA-256 hash ("fingerprint") is computed over the agreement text and the signature details and is embedded in the executed PDF copy, which is delivered to us by email and made available to you to download.
We process this data because it is necessary to enter into and perform the NDA between you and us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Executed NDAs are contractual records: we retain them for the duration of the agreement's term and thereafter for as long as necessary to evidence the agreement and to comply with applicable limitation periods.
4. How we use your data
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to discuss potential legal services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data processing and storage
Contact form submissions (including executed NDAs) are delivered to our team via Resend, a transactional email service. Your data is processed on servers located in the EU/US. We retain contact form data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, typically no longer than 24 months after last contact. Executed NDAs are retained as described in section 3.
6. Your rights
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@web3legal.tech. Note that withdrawing consent does not affect data we must keep to evidence an executed agreement or to comply with legal obligations.
7. Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookie-free. The only local storage item we set is a preference flag to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice banner.
8. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
10. Contact
